Grades 1-4 

I am using curriculum provided by Common Sense Media to share with students rules for Internet Safety, as well as expected behavior and responsibilities of upstanding Digital Citizens. I encourage families to take a look at the Common Sense Media website and engage in conversations with your students. Students will be introduced to Internet Safety and Privacy.

Be Internet Awesome

I am using curriculum provided by Google called Be Internet Awesome! to share with students rules for Internet Safety. This is a new curriculum developed by Google and the Internet Keep Safe Coalition (iKeepSafe.org). The curriculum focuses on 5 fundamental topics of digital safety:

  • Share with Care (Be INternet Smart)
  • Don't Fall fir Fake (Be Internet Alert)
  • Secure Your Secrets (Be Internet Strong)
  • It's Cool to be Kind (Be Internet Kind)
  • When in Doubt, Talk it Out (Be Internet Brave) 

 

Be Internet Awesome Family Link- Link is an app that helps parents stay in the loop as their child begins using an Android device. Parents can use Family Link on Android* or iPhone.
